Antonia trained at London’s Central St Martin’s and Brighton School of Arts, where she enjoyed print making and reportage. She worked freelance as an illustrator in London for almost 30 years specialising in watercolours.
With three young children the family moved to Kent and Antonia continued to develop her work, experimenting with painted ceramic, sculpture and mosaic. However her passion remained painting en plein air and printmaking, with a particular interest in etching. Recent themes expressed in her work revolve around family and midlife, exploring feelings of change through figurative images from her everyday life.
Antonia has been awarded the Angela Knowles prize for Intaglio Printing at the PrintFest7 exhibition in Sevenoaks.
She exhibited two of her etchings in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Mall Galleries in London in 2019.
