We are teaming up with the OBS Gallery and their exhibition 4B: Contemporary Drawing, which is also having a special late night opening until 8:30.


New member Anne McArdle

Anne McArdle is a talented enamelist who was awarded Associate Craftsman of The Guild of Enamellers in 2012.  Her inspiration comes from living in the beautiful Kent countryside and regular trips to Hastings. Anne is fascinated by the colours and textures you can create with enamels and loves to experiment with different techniques.

4B: Contemporary Drawing
OBS have organised an artist talk by Jeanette Barnes at 7:30 in the Cawthorne Lecture Theatre. Free Entry, no booking required.

The show is continuing at OBS Gallery until 10th November.  It is open each weekend 10-4pm.

This drawing by Mark Welland is called ‘Distraction’, it is an incomplete piece and a reminder of how difficult we find it to stay focussed on a single task. The artwork if framed with the 6B pencil and putty rubber.

We are busy planning the next few months at the gallery and want to share some dates & events with you:
25th November:
We will be open late Sunday 25th November for the Tonbridge Christmas Festival until 6.30pm.
6th December:
‘First Thursday’s Late Night Open ‘
Extra open days during December:
We will be open EVERY day during December so do plan a visit to the North end of the High Street
