5:30 – 8:00 Free entry
167 High Street, Tonbridge, Kent TN9 1BX
Come to see our ‘Summer@ArtSpring’ show and meet our new member & guest artist!
New member – Anthonia Enthoven
Antonia trained at London’s Central St Martin’s and Brighton School of Arts, where she enjoyed print making and reportage. She worked freelance as an illustrator in London for almost 30 years specialising in watercolours.
Altough she experiments with painted ceramic, sculpture and mosaic, her passion remains painting en plein air and printmaking, with a particular interest in etching.
Recent themes expressed in her work revolve around family and midlife, exploring feelings of change through figurative images from her everyday life.

New guest artist: Angela Rumble
Recent works by Angela Rumble explore the theme of trees and woodland, and this year she was invited to join the Art of Trees group – The Arborealists.
She works in oils from her own photographs, manipulated to accentuate the intricacies of the natural world.
Fragments of landscape are broken down into more abstract elements which are worked on in the paintings to give obsessive and sometimes confusing detail which hovers between the abstract and the figurative.
