We are now closed until Tuesday 8th January and are looking forward to the New Year when we will be presenting an interesting guest artist program and a new Meet the Artist’ event series. 

‘Meet the Artists’ Afternoon 
We will be introducing a new format for our special opening eventS which will be a ‘Meet the artists’ on A Saturday afternoon with cake and fizz.
Come and browse our new exhibition at ArtSpring Gallery when we are also excited to introduce you to our new guest artist Karen Stamper.

Guest artist: Karen Stamper
Karen takes her inspiration from worn surfaces, architecture, tiled walls, harbours, decorative motifs and lettering of foreign lands. She aims to capture the memory of a place and the sense of human presence, echoing the passing of time.
Her work is carefully built up using layers of found papers, tissue and acrylic paint.

New opening days in 2019

Please take note of our new opening times:
From January we will be open five days a week, from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10:30 – 17:30.

Last chance to see…

One of our printmakers, Heather Haythornthwaite will be moving onto pastures new in February, when she starts working with Brixton-based Artichoke Print workshop.
So if you have been admiring her work in the gallery or have yet to discover her intricate prints, do pay ArtSpring a visit during January.
