With a life-long passion for wood, my career spanned spindle machinist, bench joinery and bespoke carpentry.  After transitioning to a Contracts Manager role in the construction industry six years ago, I soon realised how much I missed working with my hands.  My fascination and interest in woodturning led me to purchase a lathe, and with a knowledge of wood machinery and the industry, I quickly developed a unique style. Over the last two years I have transformed my woodturning into an art form, using wood stain, iridescent paints, and gold leafing to create one-of-a-kind pieces. The popularity of my work has grown, and it can now be found in galleries, shops, and craft fairs.

My artwork is truly one of a kind, as I utilise a range of unusual techniques to handcraft and hand-paint each piece. Each item is carefully turned and painted by hand, creating a functional yet highly decorative work of art.

My woodturning work is unique not only for its quality, but also because I lost three fingers on my left hand due to an industrial injury. Despite this setback, I managed to adapt my woodturning techniques to achieve my goals and set high standards in the woodturning industry.
